I tapped the shield but nothing opened.

Tapping "Unlock with a verse" sends a notification — tap that notification and the typing screen opens. Apple's shield cannot open apps directly, so the notification is the doorway. If you don't see it, check that notifications are allowed for Type the Verse in Settings.

The app I unlocked locked again.

That's by design. An unlock lasts ten minutes, then the shield returns. Type the verse again — one more word will be missing, which is how the verse becomes yours.

I need into an app urgently.

Use the Emergency unlock button on the shield. You get one per day, and it opens your apps for five minutes without a verse.

How do I change which apps are locked?

Open Type the Verse → Settings → Locked apps. Changes take effect immediately.

How do I cancel my subscription or trial?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Type the Verse → Cancel. Cancelling during the trial means you're never charged.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Install Type the Verse, open the paywall, and tap "Restore purchases." Your subscription follows your Apple Account.

Can I request a verse or translation?

Yes — email us. The library grows, and requests decide what's next.
